KOS Aims & Objectives

The objects of the Society shall be the cultivation and promotion of the study and practice of ophthalmic sciences research and man power development with a view to render service to the community and promote social contact amongst ophthalmologists.

The objects of the Society shall be the cultivation and promotion of the study and practice of ophthalmic sciences research and man power development with a view to render service to the community and promote social contact amongst ophthalmologists.Karnataka Ophthalmic Society is one of the largest State Societies in India affiliated to the All India Ophthalmological Society. 

It is academically a very active society with membership strength of over 2500 life members. It conducts several CME programmes, Workshops and Seminars in different parts of the state through District Ophthalmological Societies. State Ophthalmic Conference is held every year in November and Southern Regional Ophthalmic Conference is held once in four years.
